Please Post Proof

Excuse me, what the hell is with "posting proof"? Honestly...

I've been a part of maybe, say, 10+ different art and non-art forums (that had art boards, obviously), and nowhere (and I stress NOWHERE) was there a need to post proof. It's honestly got me confounded.

Now, I understand the downside of a ripper. I've been ripped before, I know what it feels like. But there's nothing stopping a person from ripping, especially if you post proof. It actually makes the ripper credible.

...How does one "rip" a tag? They right-click on the tag and save the image. What is the proof posted as? An image. ...Is it clicking yet?

Anyway, in other words, I find no need to post any damned proof of art. It's an extra two or three minutes that I don't care to give, another image to post, and another piece of evidence a person can use to say that they made my tag.

If you want proof of my work, you can google Inyro Gatling. I should expect that the same is true with your names. =/

good point, it does give the ripper more evidence to lie, but hey who cares if people want to post proof they can

people can post proof if asked , some people think others rip work so if needed they post proof simplel and gir dont call people kids some people take it the wrong way.

Proof doesn't need to be posted unless the poster wants to. We can look into the sis to see if that person ripped it. If he did we'll ask that person to make us a sig with our name and see how good it is.

i post proof sumtimes but allot of the time i wont but if asked i will
